PEG 2003: POWERFUL ICT TOOLS FOR LEARNING AND TEACHING
SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS
28 June 1 July 2003
St. Petersburg, Russian Federation
www.peg2003.org
To feel the peculiar charm of the inimitable St. Petersburg one
should come to it during the period of the romantic White Nights -
just as PEG 2003 will be taking place! June 2003 is the date of the
300th anniversary of this city of splendid palaces, magnificent
cathedrals, bridges and squares covered with mysterious mist. The
city was built by outstanding architects from all over Europe and
Russia, and it really is the art capital of Russia with its numerous
museums and famous theatres. The city of Dostoevsky, Tchaikovsky,
Rachmaninov and Shostakovich welcomes PEG2003!
The city has an international airport connected by flights with major
European cities. It is only 45 minutes flying time from Moscow and 4
hours by train. For detailed information about St. Petersburg you
might like to visit the following web sites - www.petersburgcity.com=20
- the official internet guide www. cityvision2000.com=20
The conference will be held in the hotel "St. Petersburg", just
standing on the River Neva embankment, facing the city centre on the
other bank.
