Announcing a focus on the new JISC Plasgiarism Advisory Service within the Virtual Learning
Space (VLS) http://itlearningspace-scot.ac.uk

Proceedings commence on Tuesday the 22 October and will be hosted by Gill Chester of JISC. Gill will host a chat session on the 22 October between 12.00 and 1.00 pm (BST) in the Schoolhill room within the VLS cafe. A further chat session will then be held on the 24 October between 1.00 and 2.00 pm (BST), also within the Schoolhill room. We advise participants to enter the chat room 15-20 minutes earlier than the chat start time, to ensure their computers are correctly configured to be able to load our chat software. If you have any problems please e-mail the VLS team at info@itlearningspace-scot.ac.uk with contact details and we will endeavor to help you.

Discussion will centre on plans for the new service including how institutions can make use of the electronic detection service being provided. Gill is also interested in hearing views on how the advisory service can help you and your colleagues deal with the issues of plagiariasm
