Dear Madam, Dear Sir,

As we already communicated, the Annual Conference on Learning Styles --the
ELSIN 2002 Conference-- with the central theme: 'Reliability & Validity'
will be organised in Ghent on June 27th and 28th. The keynote-speakers are
Prof. Dr. John Richardson & Prof. Dr. Jan Vermunt.

Prof. Richardson is currently working at the UK Open University at the
Institute of Educational Technology. His central academic focus is on
Student Learning & Assessment. Prof. Vermunt of the University of Maastricht
in The Netherlands is well known in the field of learning styles since the
publication of his doctoral work on the ILS (Inventory Learning Styles).

All recent information on the conference will in the next weeks be put on
the ELSIN2002-website.
Url: http://allserv.rug.ac.be/~mvalcke/elsin2002/index.htm

As you already can read there, several review rounds of submitted papers
already have taken place, and some 30 papers have been accepted. However
paper proposals can still be posted to the review committee untill May 1th.
On the webpage you find a 'paper submission form' to post your paper
proposal.

If you are interessed in attending the ELSIN-conference, you also can find a
'registration form' on the website. Payments for attending the conference
can be made by VISA-card only.

We are looking forward to meet you in Ghent.
On behalf of the ELSIN 2002 Conference Organising Committee,

Dirk Gombeir
