To The Group,
I have read many debates concerning online education ,preference of
education recieved from schools and universities(offline education) over
online education and troubles faced by a student studing online.
Being a student myself I believe the most important issue that be focused on
is "how a subject be taught rather than through which medium it is been
taught."
As long as the basics are made clear, learning be it online or offline will not
be tough.
Providing students(of any age) with degree courses in the fields that
interests them the most should be the most important aim of online education.
In a developing country like India being a full time worker and student is
like mission impossible. For such students online education comes as a
savior. As far as practical knowledge is concerned students should be embarked
with various practical tasks and virtual practicals can also be conducted
online.
Definetly online education willhave to overcome many shortcomings but to
think about it nobody is perfect.
